PANJIM: The quarterly review meet of branches of Canara Bank, Goa Circle was held at their Circle Office premises recently.

After lighting the lamp and garlanding the Founder’s photo, D S Sridhar, Deputy General Manager, informed the achievements of Goa Circle during the first
Quarter of the financial year and critically reviewed the shortcomings. He informed that, Goa Circle of the Bank has reached new milestone in total business and complimented the staff for its support.
He also informed that, Bank is going to open 20 more branches in Goa soon and called upon the staff to give the best services to the customers and ensure complaint-free atmosphere in all branches. He stressed the need to improve the Bank’s Market Share and emphasized the need to focus on Priority Sector Advances, Agriculture, SME, Educational loans, Issue of Canara Debit Cards and Credit Cards to all eligible accounts, Canara Campus Cards for students of 13 years and above etc.
BSNL hikes free mobile data usage under 3G postpaid plan
PANJIM: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has increased the free data usage under 3G postpaid mobile data plan for Best Value Plan of Rs. 700 from 2 GB to 6 GB.
BSNL has launched special tariff voucher of Rs. 786 for Ramzan and Idul-ul-Fitr Festival under prepaid mobile services with 786 minutes free on-net (local/STD), 786 minutes free off-net (local/STD), 786 free SMSes (local/national) and 786 MB free data usage (2G/3G) with 90 days validity. These special tariff vouchers are on offer for 30 days with effect from July 23, 2012.
BSNL offered on Raksha Bandhan , Janmashtami, Independence Day and Eid-ul-Fitr, Full usage value equal to MRP on top-up vouchers/C-top-up/flexi top-up with MRP of Rs. 110, Rs. 220, Rs. 440, and Rs. 550. The offer is applicable for a period of 30 days with effect from August 1, 2012.
BSNL has also offered free 3.6 Mbps data card with any post paid data plan having fixed monthly charges of over Rs. 400. The cost of data card will be returned to the customer by way of monthly cash back (rebate) in bill over a period of 8 months.
BSNL has launched a special 3G post paid data plan for two months i.e. for August and September -2012 as promotional Independence Day offer with advance rental of Rs 450 and the freebies offered are 3GB/month for 2 months. After 2 months the customer can choose any of the post paid plan of his choice. The scheme is on offer for two months with effect from August 1, 2012.
BSNL has offered on the occasion of Janmashtami, Independence Day, Eid-ul-Fitr, Onam and Ganesh Chaturthi, a special discount of 20% on sale price of 3.6 Mbps 3G USB type HSDPA data cards of Rs 1600 (Exclusive of VAT). This scheme will remain open for a period of 90 days with effect from August 7, 2012.
BSNL has also introduced a new post paid unlimited plan under Wireless Broadband Services (WiMAX). The plan is HOWI 999 with bandwidth of 1 Mbps upto 6 GB, 512 Kbps beyond 6 GB. The plan is introduced with effect from August 1, 2012.
Videocon, DDB partner to launch new range of LEDs

Tara Jewellers to exhibit Pristinium jewellery
