Mocha comes to Goa
PANJIM: Mocha, the flagship award-winning brand from Impresario Entertainment and Hospitality Pvt Ltd (IEHPL) has opened an outlet at Calangute.
Riyaaz Amlani, CEO and MD, Impresario says, “Mocha is a state of mind. We imbibe the spirit of letting you be, to give each customer an unparalleled experience every time they walk in - each outlet is a standalone haven. With this in mind, we scoured Goa for the right place to set up home for Mocha. Once we did that, we set about to create a body, for Goa’s state of mind. We have finally come up with something that is sure to appeal to all your senses, redefine the coffee culture in this city of food lovers and generate a warm reception.”
The all-white decor gives a minimalist vibe and is complete with contemporary furniture that has been accentuated with colourful cushions in turquoise blue, red and green. As for the bar area, recycled wood pieces have been sourced from crate boxes that are used to pack the many goods that come and go through the ports of Goa. What's interesting is that they have been retained in their original avatar and you can see the various stamp markings on some of the wood pieces.
Having expanded to 16 outlets in 9 cities, Mocha knows how to pour the world in your cup. And it’s not just about the wide range of the finest gourmet beans on their menu that you wouldn’t normally come across.
Chef Gaurav Gidwani, Executive Chef - Mocha elaborates, “Mocha’s kitchen strives to come up with innovative creations. The menu has been tweaked for the Goan palate but still highlights our hallmark of robust flavours, fresh ingredients and great taste.”
Joining the menu in Goa will be entirely new mouth-watering sections like Risottos, Pizzas and Hot Dogs as well as new inclusions in All-Day Meals and Short-Eats. Mocha’s house favourites will also migrate to Goa; you can expect to see (and taste) Mocha’s signature Desserts, Shakes, All Day Breakfast, Pastas, Paninis, Burgers and an entire range of Wraps. And of course, there’s the bar menu that boasts of an inspired range of beverages, with popular favourites from classic cocktails to Mocha Shooters. After all, what’s a cafe in Goa, if you’ve nothing to wash down a good meal with?
The outlet will be open from 9am – 1am, 7 days a week.
