The Computer Auditor General (CAG) reported losses of Rs.1.86 lakh Crores as the government chose to allocate coal blocks instead of auctioning them. Prime Minister disputes the CAG report. Public money goes to the drains-allegedly through the pockets of the politicians. Cases of corruption against politicians are never proved even in Courts of law. Remember, neither the money giver nor the taker ever accepts as having taken or given a bribe. Cash exchanges cannot be proved. In cases of disproportionate assets cases here too no politician has ever been punished.
Scams are discussed regularly without any positive results. Soon Coal gate will be taken over by another new scam. Corruption at all levels will continue. This is because most people, at all levels, are corrupt themselves. Had the BJP and the other political parties got their due share -this matter would not have arisen.
It is allegedly said –openly in most government departments – that cash is collected and distributed among staff members at all levels. Why can’t all political parties follow this system and be happy. Show the public that all political parties are one in under hand dealings. Our democratic set up has become a joke. People with criminal background are voted to power. Flaws in rules cannot be just made by any political party or Parliament-almost all political parties have people with criminal backgrounds.
The irony is that the public is helpless in seeing the mockery of democracy. The people in power do not care as they know they weild the upper hand. Learn a lesson. Be cool …. If you cannot do anything –do not repent or be sorry .Laugh at it. That is what a common man does.
